Overview

Game Review is a Chrome extension that helps users save supported archived Full Event Videos and premade Video Clips they are authorized to access and download for offline review. Video processing occurs locally in the user's browser.

Information Game Review accesses

When you open Game Review on a supported GameChanger page, the extension may access the active page URL, game and team information, player names, available recording and Video Clip metadata, play descriptions, clip identifiers, thumbnails, archived media playlist URLs, media segments, and preview media needed for its features.

Game Review stores user preferences and temporary download-job information in Chrome extension storage. It may also cache clip-library metadata, including player names and clip information, to support clip discovery, filtering, selection, and downloading. Large video jobs may use Chrome's Origin Private File System as temporary local storage while an MP4 is prepared and verified. Completed videos are saved to the user's computer through Chrome's download system.

How information is used

The information above is used only to provide Game Review's user-facing functions: identifying supported recordings and Video Clips, showing game and clip information, filtering and selecting clips, generating preview frames, preparing MP4 files and highlight reels, verifying finished media when enabled, saving user-requested downloads, and showing optional completion notifications.

Data sharing and developer-operated servers

Game Review does not send game video, page metadata, browsing activity, or clip selections to a developer-operated analytics, advertising, or media-processing server. Game Review does not sell user data and does not share user data with data brokers or advertising platforms.

Network requests are made to GameChanger's website and media infrastructure as necessary to identify and retrieve videos that the user is authorized to access and has requested to process.

Authentication

Game Review does not directly read or store your passwords, authentication tokens, or session cookies. When GameChanger requires an existing authorized browser session to retrieve a video, Chrome may include the user's existing session credentials in requests to GameChanger's website or video infrastructure. Certain archived Video Clips may require GameChanger's existing playback initialization process before their video resources become available. Game Review uses the user's existing authorized session for these requests; authentication credentials are not sent to a developer-operated server.

Retention

User preferences are stored in Chrome extension storage until changed, cleared, or the extension is removed. Some preferences may synchronize between devices through Chrome's synchronization features when enabled. Clip-library metadata may be cached locally in the browser and may remain until replaced, cleared, or the extension is removed. Temporary video files are used to complete user-requested downloads and are cleaned up by the extension as part of its normal workflow. Completed videos are saved through Chrome's download system; Game Review does not retain copies on a developer-operated server.

Advertising and profiling

Game Review does not use accessed information for personalized advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Game Review's use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data access is limited to what is necessary to provide and improve the extension's disclosed single purpose.

Children

Game Review is a general-purpose browser utility and does not operate a developer-hosted account or user-data service. Users are responsible for handling downloaded media in accordance with applicable permissions and laws.

Changes to this policy

If Game Review's data practices materially change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those new practices are introduced.
